I gave this wall 3 x coats of white paint, but noticed the grey outline of the bricks or breezeblocks shows through. I've just bagged the internal painted walls in my place using rockcote keycote as a primer and the quikcote grey render with 10% acrabond in water for a great result. The white powder that comes to the surface is called efflorescence.
